Reason version of the Gristleizer used by Throbbing Gristle. It is a Reason Combinator patch that uses a Thor a Scream and a Subtractor. Hit the power button to turn it on, make sure it isn’t bypassed and then switch between VCF (voltage controlled filter – a bandpass) and VCA (voltage controlled amplifier). The speed adjusts the speed of the LFO the depth adjusts how much the LFO affects the VCF or VCA the knob with pictures of waves changes the wave shape (triangle, ramp, slope, square) and the bias affects the DC bias of the output. The Bypass button doesn’t work, but if you just turn the depth all the way down everything is bypassed except the bias. the pitch bend and mod wheel don’t do anything. I just made this because I saw another Gristleizer Reason patch floating around that was ok and made some cool sounds but wasn’t really anything like a real Gristleizer.
Update: I added the PD version to the attachments on this page too. Please note this patch is an effect and is routed as such. You will need to open it as a abstraction and route through it.

Hi,
At risk of sounding ridiculous, how is it that I route the pd Gristleizer as an abstraction? Do I need to graph on parent? I cannot get any audio to process through it.
You just need to put the throbbingGristleizer.pd file in the same folder as the patch you want to use it in and then in the patch make a box and type throbbingGristleizer into the box and it will show up with an inlet and outlet and if you click on the box you can see the controls.
